Using of this section HR department can easily manage the leaves.
Leave management : - It is one of the most important process of HR department which consume a small but significant portion of managerial time.
Although this process does not take too much time, yet approving leaves is a delicate balancing act.
In Epan leave could be manage by two way :
First : HR > Leave Management
Second : My Menu > My HR
Using first way of allow leave to an employee by HR department.
For manage leave, you have to click HR > Leave Management :
And you will be redirected on a page :
You can feed proper data & add record.
After addition, record
i.e. : After addition you can submit for approval by higher authority.
Actions And Their significant :
On almost every grid in epan, you will see Status (Active/InActive or Draft etc.) and action dropdown.
In leave management there are three kinds of actions base on status :
- On Draft :
[ Submit ] m
Submit : Submit leave for approval.
- On Submit :
[ Reject, Approve ]
Reject : After submission of leave it can be reject by higher authority.
Approve : After submission of leave it can be approved byusing this action.
After approval :
Using second way to take leave by an employee from HR department.
For take leave, you have to click HR > My HR :
And you will be redirected on a page :
Fill info to get leave :
Allow Leave : Select leave from the available list of allowed leave to your
post.
From Date : Beginning date for leave.
To Date : Ending date for leave.
And click on "Get Leave", after it you will got record, Now you have to submit leave for approval by higher authority or HR department.
After approval, you can view your approved leaves in 'Approved Leave" tab.
